The Technical procurement division has developed the skills required to source all of our spare parts requirements. They ensure that the replacement component meets or exceeds the OEM component specification.

Electronic assemblies are also sourced on the open market. Again the procurement division ensures that these meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This service is very useful if the particular assembly in no longer in production.

Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering has recently evolved into a powerful tool in the electronic repair process. At Electronix Services we employ the advances in the area of reverse engineering to offer a fast, flexible and accurate service. We have the skills and expertise to reverse engineer the most complex of equipment and build a checklist document that outlines in detail all steps of the electronic repair and the test process.

Fault Analysis

We have the skills and expertise to use advanced analysis techniques to dig deep into any electronic problem and identify the root cause and the full possible causes of same. These analysis techniques can be applied to pure electronic repair of equipment or to provide a valuable service to customers who require early life failure analysis. We provide the results of our analysis in a variety of reporting options and also can suggest various options on corrective action.

Component Level Debug

This is the essence of all repairs that we carry out where we go to deep component level. We are NOT a board or Module swap service. We apply our skills and expertise to debug the failing circuit(s) to exact component failure and then suggest the approprisate corrective action.

SMT & BGA Rework and Repair

We have all the tools and equipment including hot air stations, dark infra red stations as well as a variety of optical inspection equipment that allow us carry out the most complex rework to the highest standards. We are qualified rework instructors with IPC certification.

Product Re-Engineering

We offer a customised service where we analyse a products failure pattern and evaluate alternative options on the existing design. In some cases a new design may be suggested but in either case when the solutions can be applied to resolve reliability issues which dramatically improve efficiency and reduce costs. We have had a number of very successful projects in this regards and all come in under budget and ahead of schedule with very satisfied customers.
